...and a man has been arrested and two off-road bikes have been recovered by Neighbourhood officers in Middlesbrough.

 

A court has heard how a man who attacked two women sent one of them a video of a man being murdered.

29-year-old Thomas Gill of Bangor Close in Eston was given a prison sentence at Teesside Crown Court last week after committing a string of serious offences.

The 29-year-old was found guilty at trial of malicious communications and assault occasioning actual bodily harm.

Mr Gill pleaded guilty to a further assault occasioning actual bodily harm and criminal damage.

He was jailed for 30 months and banned from contacting his victims.

 

A man has been charged in connection with a number of recent vehicle break-in's in the Cavendish Road area of Middlesbrough.

On Tuesday 9th April, officers received reports of a number of vehicles reportedly broken into in the area, including a blue Hyundai Tucson where medication, a laptop and bank card were reported stolen.

A 34-year-old man has been charged with two thefts from motor vehicles, three counts of vehicle interference and six counts of fraud.

He's due to appear at Teesside Magistrates Court today.

 

A man has been arrested and two off-road bikes have been recovered by Neighbourhood officers in Middlesbrough.

The vehicles were spotted yesterday by officers at a garage at Marton cross roads with Ladgate Lane.

One male made off from the scene and another was arrested on suspicion of theft.

Both bikes were seized by police and officers say their enquiries are ongoing.

Members of the public are encouraged to report incidents where off-road bikes are being ridden illegally and any information about where illegal off-road bikes could be being stored.
