Police investigating an incident in Middlesbrough in which a man was seriously injured have arrested a teenager on suspicion of attempted murder;

A dispersal order has been put in place in Redcar following antisocial behaviour in parts of the town;

...and Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council says it still has no potential re-opening date for Saltburn’s iconic cliff lift, although repair work has started following an electric fault which sparked a blaze in January.
