Stolen Parrots Have A Way With Words
Cleveland Police are appealing for information after two African Grey Parrots were stolen from a property in the Berwick Hills area of Middlesbrough.
It's believed the burglary took place between Thursday 24th and Monday 28th September. The parrots, who go by the names of Missy and Snoop Dogg, have some popular phrases that make them easily identifiable such as "giz a tickle", "give us a big fat kiss" and "hello fat girl". They also like to sing along to The Match of the Day theme tune and Laurel and Hardy.
Anyone who may have seen the parrots advertised for sale or anyone who may have information about the burglary is asked to contact PC Andrew Hampson on the non-emergency 101 number or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
