Man Injured Following Incident Involving Vehicles
Police are appealing for information following one collision and one near collision with cars on Middlesbrough Road, South Bank.
The incident happened at around 8pm on Wednesday 15th July when the two men were walking.
It is believed that a silver Volkswagon Golf and a dark grey BMW 3 Series were parked closely, with the occupants speaking to each other jus before the incident.
The men heard the sounds of cars screeching and ran into Napier Street where one of them was involved in a collision with a car.
This left the 33 year old man with a fracture to his left arm and brusing to his chest, face and legs. He was treated at James Cook University Hospital and later released.
The second male was chased by a second car and he managed to run to safety.
Officers would like to trace the drivers of the two vehicles that were seen shortly before the incident.
The driver of the Golf is described as a white male, of muscly build, around 6ft tall and aged in his 30’s with balding, blonde hair. There was also a blonde haired female and a young child in the car, possibly aged around three or four.
The driver of the BMW is described as being a white male, of large, muscly build with tattoos on his arms.
