Police are appealing for information after a stabbing in Middlesbrough.

Officers were called to a report of a man stabbed on Ruskin Avenue in the town at around 2:30am yesterday morning.

The 37-year-old man was taken to James Cook University Hospital with serious injuries, which are not believed to be life threatening.

Two men aged 27 and 29 have been arrested in connection with the incident and they were taken into police custody.

Detectives are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the incident, anyone who may have seen or heard anything or anyone with dashcam footage, to contact Middlesbrough CID on the non-emergency number 101.

 

Police are appealing for dashcam footage following a collision which left a man and a child injured.

Shortly before 5:50pm on Wednesday, a trailer being pulled by a Combine Harvester driving along the A173 in Pinchinthorpe, collided head-on with a Vauxhall Mokka travelling in the opposite direction.

The 32-year old man driving the Mokka suffered an injury to his elbow and a 6-year-old boy who was a passenger sustained some injuries to his face.

Police are asking any witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage of the incident or driving leading up to the incident to call them on 101.

 

Two men have been charged after a cannabis farm was located in Middlesbrough.

The farm was located at a premises on Albert Road on Wednesday, and is believed to be valued at up to £420,000.

Two men aged 25 and 33 were arrested and charged with production of a controlled class B drug.

They appeared at Teesside Magistrates Court yesterday.
