Cleveland Police has released a series of images of people officers would like to speak to in relation to disorder in Middlesbrough.

Detective Chief Inspector Sarah Robinson, who is leading the investigation into the incident on Sunday 4 August, said that officers will continue to relentlessly pursue those suspected of causing serious violence and disorder in Middlesbrough.

The images can be viewed on the Cleveland Police website.

If you recognise the people pictured, you can get in touch with Cleveland Police on the non-emergency number 101, or contact Crimestoppers by phone on 0800 555 111.

Officers have seized two off-road bikes with the help of the police drone.

On the evening of Friday 16th August, officers from Middlesbrough’s Neighbourhood Policing Team carried out targeted patrols in and around the Netherfields, Brambles Farm and Thorntree areas following reports of nuisance off-road bikes.

A suspected stolen orange KTM bike was seized from Burwell Road while another bike was seized from Cargo Fleet Lane following reports it had been involved in antisocial behaviour in the area.

Anyone with information about off-road bikes in your area is urged to contact Cleveland Police on 101.

Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council have announced that they will be taking measures to make headstones safe in Redcar cemetery.

The council says that following essential memorial safety inspections, they have identified approximately 30 headstones in Redcar cemetery that will need lowered to ground level as soon as practicable.

This is to ensure residents safety and avoid incidents.

The council has published a list of the affected graves on its Facebook page and website and says that the graves on the list have no registered owners, having been interred decades ago.

If you can assist with any of the memorials, you should contact the council's bereavement services department.
