Three men have been taken into police custody after being arrested on suspicion of attempted murder following an incident in Grangetown on Tuesday evening;

Police are appealing for witnesses and footage after a robbery in Park End;

Three men have been taken into police custody after being arrested on suspicion of attempted murder following an incident in Grangetown on Tuesday evening.

Officers received a report that a man had been injured on Griffiths Road around 9:50pm.

His injuries were believed to have been caused by a firearm.

The man, aged 21, remains in hospital receiving treatment for serious injuries.

These are not believed to be life-threatening.

Three males aged 42, 44 and 52 were taken into police custody whilst enquiries continue.

Police do not believe there is any threat to the wider public and reassurance patrols are being carried out.

Anyone who may have witnessed the incident or anyone with CCTV, dash cam footage is asked to call Cleveland Police on the non-emergency number 101.

 

Police are appealing for witnesses and footage after a robbery in Park End.

Around 3:40pm on Tuesday, a man suffered injuries caused by a vehicle after he was robbed outside the Family Shopper on Overdale Road.

A group of males who were outside the shop approached the 51-year-old man inside his black Skoda and proceeded to grab cash from him.

He was dragged under his vehicle in the struggle, where it rolled back over his leg, causing a suspected break.

A 16-year-old boy has been arrested in connection with the incident and he remains on police bail whilst enquiries continue.

Two other boys aged 16 and 17 were arrested but later released with no further action.

 

Police are appealing for witnesses and footage after a collision involving an electric bike and a pedestrian.

The incident happened around 5:55pm on Friday on Normanby Road.

The 29-year-old rider of a Suron E-bike suffered minor injuries and a 65-year-old male pedestrian suffered a fractured arm and pain to his back and spine.

Both were taken to the James Cook University Hospital for treatment.

Anyone who may have footage of the incident or any witnesses are asked to contact Cleveland Police on 101.
