Police investigating the disappearance of missing woman Annie Dryden have recovered a body at the weekend.

The body was discovered on Saturday lunchtime in woodland near to Battersby in North Yorkshire.

The 20-year-old Middlesbrough woman disappeared in January after boarding a train at James Cook University Hospital train station.

The death is not currently being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the Coroner.

Detectives in Middlesbrough who are investigating two incidents of sexual assault and robbery have released CCTV images of a man they believe could help with their enquiries.

Police say they are currently linking the two incidents which occurred in the early hours of Sunday 21st April.

The first happened at the rear of The Empire on Corporation Road in the town centre at around 4.20am on Sunday, where a woman was sexually assaulted.

Fortunately she did not suffer any physical injuries.

A short time later, around 5am, a woman was on Newport Road near Middlesbrough Bus Station when she was approached by a man, who assaulted her before making off with her backpack.

The CCTV images are available to view on the Cleveland Police website.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Cleveland Police on 101.
