Police have issued notices to drivers in a car park in our area which is known for anti-social behaviour.
Officers from Redcar's Neighbourhood Policing Team carried out patrols in the Majuba car park in Redcar on the Sunday evening.
Three section 59 notices were issued and two people were reported for careless driving.
Police say that they will continue to monitor the Majuba car park area and prosecute drivers where suitable.
Cleveland Police are appealing for help to trace a motorbike which was stolen in our area.
The blue Surron motorbike was reported stolen during a robbery in the Pierson Street area of Redcar on Sunday 17th March.
A 16-year-old boy was arrested and charged in connection with the incident.
He appeared in court last week where he was remanded in custody.
Officers are appealing for anyone who may have seen the bike or knows of its whereabouts to contact the police on the non-emergency number 101.
Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council has issued an apology after some residents had problems subscribing to collections for garden waste.
Yesterday was the final day residents could register for the first collections from the service, and the council said it was receiving a very high volume of calls from residents wishing to subscribe to garden waste collections for this year.
This meant some residents have experienced difficulty in getting through to our call centre.
The council says it would like to apologise for the inconvenience and thanked residents for their patience.
It also reminded residents that they can register quickly online on the Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council Facebook page.
