Police are appealing for witnesses following a robbert in North Ormesby.

The reported robbery took place at Bargain Busters on the Market Place in North Ormesby shortly before 5pm on Thursday.

The shopkeeper was assaulted by three men who had entered the store, before they stole items and made off.

Police arrived and arrested three men aged 43, 45 and 48 on suspicion of robbery.

Anyone with information or who comes across discarded items in the North Ormesby area is asked to call police on the non-emergency number 101.

Police are appealing for help in tracing a motorbike that was stolen in Redcar.

The motorbike was stolen from a garage on Brooksbank Avenue overnight between 6th and 7th March.

The motorbike is a vintage Suzuki GP100 from the 1980s, registration G48 NEW, with a side stand.

Police are asking for the public's help to get the bike back to the owner, as it has great sentimental value.

Anyone with information on the theft is asked to call police on 101.

Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council are hosting a special event for drivers who are interested in electric vehicles.

An Electric Vehicle Show is taking place at The Wilton Visitor Centre on Friday 19 April, and is open to both people and businesses who would like to know more about electric vehicles.

Members of the public can go along and meet a wide range of vehicle manufacturers including Tesla, BMW, Peugeot, Porsche, Audi, Kia and Mazda to name a few, talk to them about the practicalities of going electric and even take a test drive.
