Police are appealing for witnesses following a robbert in North Ormesby.
The reported robbery took place at Bargain Busters on the Market Place in North Ormesby shortly before 5pm on Thursday.
The shopkeeper was assaulted by three men who had entered the store, before they stole items and made off.
Police arrived and arrested three men aged 43, 45 and 48 on suspicion of robbery.
Anyone with information or who comes across discarded items in the North Ormesby area is asked to call police on the non-emergency number 101.
Police are appealing for help in tracing a motorbike that was stolen in Redcar.
The motorbike was stolen from a garage on Brooksbank Avenue overnight between 6th and 7th March.
The motorbike is a vintage Suzuki GP100 from the 1980s, registration G48 NEW, with a side stand.
Police are asking for the public's help to get the bike back to the owner, as it has great sentimental value.
Anyone with information on the theft is asked to call police on 101.
Plans to build a new secondary school in Middlesbrough for pupils with severe learning difficulties have been given the go-ahead by councillors.
A new school will be built beside the existing Discovery Special Academy primary school in Acklam for 70 pupils aged 11 to 16, with the aim of providing a pathway on the same site on Sandy Flatts Lane.
The town's planning committee met on Thursday to vote on the plans.
The majority of councillors on the planning committee voted to accept the proposals, giving the green light for the new school.
