Police and ambulance crews were called to a residential street after a "sudden death" in Middlesbrough yesterday.
Officers arrived at an address on St Mary's Walk, in Acklam, with at least four police vehicles and three ambulances pictured at the scene.
Crime scene investigators wearing purple gloves and carrying evidence bags were seen entering a property following a large-scale emergency response.
Cleveland Police has since launched an investigation, confirming the report of a sudden death.
Enquiries into the circumstances are now underway, with the family being supported by officers.
It's been revealed that Tees Valley Mayor Ben Houchen has committed £20million to build a new fit-for-purpose railway station at Teesside International Airport.
The investment will see a fully accessible station installed at the airport, allowing people to travel by rail from across the region to Teesside International.
The station will be funded from the £1billion of new money for transport allocated to Tees Valley following the scrapping of the northern leg of HS2.
The project is part of the Mayor's Transport package which will be taken to Tees Valley Combined Authority cabinet for approval in January.
Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council are continuing to ask residents for their views on proposed changes to library services in the Borough.
As part of the Councils' ongoing libraries consultations, further drop-in sessions are being held in libraries across Redcar and Cleveland.
Sessions will take place this month at libraries throughout the borough.
In the coming weeks sessions will be held in Marske, Loftus, Ormesby, Skelton and Loftus.
Residents will have the chance to ask questions about the consultation which will be answered by a member of the council's staff.
