A man has been arrested after a burglary was reported at a Subway shop in our area.
Officers from Cleveland Police Dog Unit, response and the police drone combined efforts to detain the man after the report in the early hours of yesterday morning.
The incident was reported at the branch on the Trunk Road in Eston.
CCTV spotted a male making off near to the Herlingshaw Centre around 1am.
Shortly afterwards a man was located hiding in bushes nearby, and officers recovered suspected stolen items.
A 24-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of four counts of burglary and two counts of theft from a shop, and was taken into police custody.

Maxi's Mates Rescue and Rehoming Centre, at Dunsdale, has launched an appeal on social media asking for donations after an alleged "glitch" meant that they weren't charged for electricity for months.
The centre - which is based between Redcar and Guisborough - said it is already "stretched" without the bill and is caring for a record number of unwanted dogs.
Since the appeal was published, more than 170 people have already donated and more than two thousand pounds has been raised.
Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council are asking residents for their opinions on the future of library services in the area.
The council has launched a consultation to ask for residents' views on proposed changes to library services across the borough.
The consultation gives residents the chance to express their views on the future of the service.
