Police are appealing for witnesses after two men were left injured following a serious assault in South Bank.
The incident occurred on Henry Street at around 3:30pm on Saturday.
A 36-year-old man was left with injuries to his head, mouth, fingers and legs, whilst a 31-year-old man sustained puncture wounds consistent with dog bites.
Both men were taken by ambulance to the James Cook University Hospital for treatment.
Their injuries are described as serious, but not life threatening.
Two men, aged 30 and 54, were arrested late on Saturday evening on suspicion of grievous bodily harm and taken into police custody for questioning.
Two dogs have been seized from a property in Southbank in connection with the incident.
Witnesses, or anyone with information, CCTV, dashcam footage or Ring doorbell footage is asked to contact police on the non-emergency number 101.

The incident happened on Cambridge Road in Middlesbrough at around 10:40pm on Thursday when a group of six males were involved in an altercation with a 20-year-old man, who suffered two stab wounds to his back.
The victim was taken to James Cook University Hospital where he received treatment.
His injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
A 28-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident.
He has been bailed whilst enquiries continue.

A man has been charged with theft from motor vehicle after being arrested on Friday morning.
Redcar neighbourhood police team officers had been investigating a report of an overnight theft in September of theft of specialist photography and studio equipment from a parked vehicle.
Some of the alleged stolen property was recovered and will be returned.
The 38-year-old man was interviewed and charged before being released on conditional bail.
He is due to appear at Teesside Magistrates' Court later this month.
