Cleveland Police have arrested a man after a cannabis farm was discovered in Middlesbrough.
A total of 213 plants were discovered in a property on Roman Road in the town yesterday, and are believed to be worth up to £180,000.
A 35-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of producing Class B drugs and was taken into police custody.
Officers say their enquiries into the incident are ongoing.
The volunteers of the Cleveland Mountain Rescue Team have been called into action to assist an injured girl.
Just after 8pm on Thursday the team were contacted by the Yorkshire Ambulance Service NHS Trust to a report of a young girl having sustained a leg injury after falling from a tree in the Osmotherley area.
Team members used a Land Rover to get very close to where the casualty was already being treated by the ambulance crew.
Once the girl had been checked over by a Team Doctor, she was carried her on a scoop stretcher to the ambulance for onward transportation to hospital.
Two new bus services are set to be launched in our area.
Stagecoach will be introducing the new bus services 1 & 2 which will begin on Monday 10 July.
The supported bus service, funded by Tees Valley Combined Authority, will connect Brotton, Carlin How, Skelton, Lingdale, Liverton Mines, Loftus, Moorsholm (pron "moor-sum") and Skinningrove to East Cleveland Hospital, Saltburn Railway Station and Skelton Retail Park.
