...and Police are appealing for information following a collision involving a black Hyundai vehicle and a Yamaha motorbike on Normanby Road in Middlesbrough.

 

Three people have been arrested after police were called to a crash involving a suspected stolen vehicle.

At around 7.25 yesterday morning, officers received a report that a suspected stolen Renault Clio had crashed at South Gare, in Redcar.

Witnesses said multiple emergency service vehicles attended and a cordon was erected.

Police have since confirmed three people, aged 38, 37 and 21, have been arrested for offences including drink driving, possession of drugs and theft.

All three were taken into police custody.

 

Thieves have smashed their way into a Bistro in Guisborough causing thousands of pounds worth of damage.

Police are investigating following the overnight raid on Sunday, which happened at The Cat's Whiskers Bistro on Chaloner Street.

Damage was caused to a window and a till was stolen in the incident. 

Cleveland Police Scene of Crime Officers attended the property and the force is appealing for any information about the incident.

Anyone with information, dashcam, doorbell or CCTV footage which could help the ongoing enquiries is asked to contact Cleveland Police on the non-emergency number 101.

 

Police are appealing for information following a collision involving a black Hyundai vehicle and a Yamaha motorbike on Normanby Road in Middlesbrough.

The collision occurred on Monday lunchtime at around twenty past midday.

The 18 year old male rider of the motorbike suffered serious head injuries and was taken to James Cook University Hospital.

Anyone who may have witnessed the collision or anyone who may have dash cam footage is asked to contact Cleveland Police on 101.
