Police are appealing for information after three incidents in Middlesbrough.

On Tuesday this week an altercation was reported around 5pm outside a property on Premier Road involving a group of youths.

Around 5:40pm on Homerton Road, a male was robbed and a bike and a phone were stolen from a male by a group of youths.

A short time later around 5:55pm two males were reportedly assaulted by a group on Ormesby Road. Both males were taken to hospital for treatment.

Officers are investigating any link between the three incidents.

Witnesses or anyone with footage of the incidents is asked to contact Cleveland Police on the non-emergency number 101.

Members of the public are being invited to a special drop-in event to give their views on exciting plans for Eston Pool.

The new pool, if planning permission is granted, will provide modern facilities to meet the needs of Eston and the surrounding areas.

The new facility, which is designed to Sport England recommendations, will provide a 25 metre, six lane pool with changing areas, a 150-seat spectator gallery, an official’s room for gala use and a Changing Places facility which can be accessed via a new lobby.

The swimming pool will be accessible for all and will facilitate swimming lessons as well as galas and competition swimming.

Members of the public can visit the special drop-in event, which takes place at Eston Leisure Centre on Monday 20 February between 10am and 6pm.

Alternatively, you can fill out a digital survey on the Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council website.
