Police are appealing for information and dashcam footage after a man died following a collision in Guisborough;

Police are appealing for information and dashcam footage after a man died following a collision in Guisborough.
39-year-old local man Craig Dixon was walking with his dog along Westgate in Guisborough at approximately 4.40pm on Friday when he and his pet dog were struck by a silver Citroen C3 which was being driven along Westgate.
Several members of the public tended to Mr Dixon until paramedics arrived, however Mr Dixon was pronounced dead shortly afterwards at hospital.
Mr Dixon's dog, Duchess, also died from her injuries.
A 38-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and was interviewed by police.
He's now been released on conditional bail pending further enquiries.
Any witnesses who have not yet spoken with police - as well as any motorists who have dashcam from the Westgate area of Guisborough shortly before, during and after the incident - are asked to contact officers on the non-emergency number 101.

At 9 o'clock on Friday evening the crew assisted Police with an incident on Redcar sea front.
The incident was resolved by police a short time later.
Police are appealing to trace an Eston man Jack Newton as he may have information regarding an allegation of assault and witness intimidation.
20-year-old Jack Newton is believed to still be in the Eston area.
He is described as 5'7" tall, of medium build, with blonde hair.
