Police are appealing for witnesses, CCTV and dash cam footage after a 17-year-old boy suffered a stab wound to his leg in an incident in Middlesbrough.
A number of suspects are believed to have been in a property on Enfield Street at around 11:10pm on Saturday night when the incident happened, having forced their way into an address.
Damage was also caused to a vehicle in the street.
Any witnesses or anyone with information, CCTV or dash cam footage, are asked to contact Middlesbrough CID on the non-emergency number 101.
Police have revealed that 124 arrests have been made since 1st May as part of ongoing Operation Fortress in Hemlington.
The operation, which continues to maintain reductions in ASB, deliberate fires and crime within the Hemlington area, continues as the darker nights draw in.
Since the operation began in February this year, police and partner agencies including Middlesbrough Council, Cleveland Fire Brigade, Thirteen Housing and Habinteg have dedicated time and resources to working with the community to tackle issues caused by a minority of people at the detriment to the majority of the local residents.
Since 1st May there have been 124 arrests for various alleged offences in the Hemlington area, with 31 of those have already been charged to court, 45 have pending interventions or used diversionary opportunities, 31 investigations are still ongoing, one person has been recalled to prison and 16 people have been arrested on an outstanding warrant.
The alleged offences include criminal damage, arson, drugs offences, public order, possession of weapons and theft.
The public toilets on the stray at Redcar and Marske will now remain open for the same operating hours during winter after lighting and heating systems have been installed in both sites.
Due to the lack of light and heating facilities, the Council could not guarantee the safety of using the toilets on Redcar and Marske Stray during winter hours.
However the works, which were completed recently, will ensure that residents can safely use these facilities even during the upcoming cold weather season.
