Appeal Following Robbery at Brotton Store
Police are appealing for witnesses following a robbery at a store in Brotton shortly before 10pm on Monday 8th September.
The incident took place at Spar on the High Street after a masked male wearing a red jacket entered the shop and made threats towards staff before stealing a quantity of cash and cigarettes. He made off in the direction of Ings Lane.
Officers would particularly like to speak to anyone who may have seen a man standing in the front garden of an empty house opposite the store shortly before the incident.
