Police are appealing for information following alleged disorder and a reported serious assault in a pub in Coulby Newham.

The alleged incident occurred in the Lingfield Farm Pub in Coulby Newham on Saturday evening.

Two men were reportedly assaulted - with one sustaining serious head injuries for which he attended hospital.

He is still receiving ongoing medical treatment.

A 32-year-old man was arrested, interviewed and bailed while enquiries continue.

Any witnesses or people who may have any footage from that night are asked to contact Cleveland Police on the non-emergency number 101.

Neighbourhood policing officers have seized two motorbikes which were being driven in a nuisance manner in our area.

The motorbikes were seized in the Grangetown and South Bank areas in the past few days after officers received reports of them being driven in a nuisance and illegal manner.

Anyone with information on antisocial or illegal use of motorbikes or any vehicles or knowledge of where they are being kept, is asked to contact Cleveland Police on 101.

Police have been making foot patrols in our area in order to tackle inconsiderate and illegal parking.

At the end of yesterday's school day, between 3pm-3.35pm, neighbourhood officers conducted a high visibility foot patrol around Nunthorpe Academy after complaints from the neighbouring residential area that parents had been parking across their driveways and generally causing obstructions around the estate.

Police gave words of advice to three drivers who had parked up close to a junction entrance.

The drivers took the advice on board and moved their vehicles.

Police say that they will continue to take action to ensure that roads and pavements are safe for all users - especially at either end of the school day when it can be busy.

Officers say that they will continue to educate motorists and use enforcement when necessary.
