Police are appealing for information following a two in one burglary at a property in Guisborough;

...and public toilets in our area have been forced to close due to flooding caused by recent bad weather.

 

Two men have been charged following an alleged robbery at a supermarket in our area.

Just after 11pm last Thursday police were called to a report of a burglary in progress at Sainsburys on Bankfields Road in Eston.

Two men aged 28 and 34 were arrested during enquiries into the alleged incident have now been charged with the offence of burglary other than dwelling and with attempted burglary other than dwelling.

Enquiries are on-going by Middlesbrough CID.

 

Police are appealing for information following a two in one burglary at a property in Guisborough. 

The incident occurred overnight between 11.30pm last Wednesday and 4am last Thursday on Ashford Close in the town, when unknown males entered the property, stole the victim’s car keys and made off in two vehicles.

A blue Volkswagen Golf and a dark grey Volkswagen T-Roc have been reported as stolen. 

Anyone with information regarding the incident or anyone who may have seen the vehicles is asked to contact Cleveland Police on the non-emergency number 101.

 

Public toilets in our area have been forced to close due to flooding caused by recent bad weather.

Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council have closed the toilets at Saltburn Pier, and say that they will re-open once it is safe to do so.

Alternative toilets can be found at Cat Nab and at Saltburn Station.
