Members of the community in Guisborough have gathered to remember two-year-old Daniel James Hodgson Green.

2-year-old Daniel tragically died last Wednesday following an incident in Upper Garth Gardens in the town.

Floral tributes and teddy bears have been left at the scene over the past week following the tragedy.

Residents rallied round to pay their respects to the youngster yesterday evening, laying flowers and lighting candles to pay their respects.

Details surrounding the nature of the boy's death have not yet been made public but a 39-year-old woman Carol Hodgson has been charged with his murder.

She appeared in court earlier this week and, although no plea has yet been entered, a trial date has set for June.

Police are appealing for information after a report of a garage burglary in the Dormanstown area of Redcar.

The incident occurred overnight between 11pm on Sunday and 8.50am on Monday, at an address on Gordon Road.

The victim of the burglary reported a grey Norton Dominator motorcycle as stolen.

Officers are appealing for anyone with CCTV footage, anyone with information as to the whereabouts of the motorcycle or anyone who may have been offered the motorcycle for sale to contact Cleveland Police on the non-emergency number 101.

A woman has been charged on suspicion of drink driving after a crash which caused early morning delays on the A19 and A66.

A 25-year-old woman has been charged following the multi-vehicle collision yesterday.

The smash occurred at about 6.45am on the exit slip road from the A19 northbound to the A66 at Thornaby, near to Teesside Park.

The slip road was closed while emergency services dealt with the incident.

Yesterday evening police confirmed that a 25-year-old woman has been charged with driving a motor vehicle when alcohol level is above limit.
