A court has heard that two of the men accused of murdering local man Tomasz Dembler were his housemates at the time of the alleged killing;
Police were called to a house in Guisborough yesterday following an incident which led to a large emergency service response;
...and emergency servies were called to Saltburn yesterday evening after an incident at Saltburn.
A court has heard that two of the men accused of murdering local man Tomasz Dembler were his housemates at the time of the alleged killing.
Teesside Crown Court also heard that a third defendant frequently stayed over at the terraced home on Edward Street in North Ormesby, during March of last year.
The prosecution say that Mr Dembler was beaten to death in the early hours of Sunday March 21, in his bedroom at his rented terraced home.
His body was found on April 12 last year, by two teenage girls at Flatts Lane Country Park.
The five defendants, all deny murder, and the trial continues.
Police were called to a house in Guisborough yesterday following an incident which led to a large emergency service response.
Officers were seen on Upper Garth Gardens from just before 10am yesterday and officers were still at the scene last night.
Details of the incident have not been confirmed by authorities but locals said police had been at the property all day and ambulances were seen parked along the street.
The Great North Air Ambulance was called and a doctor and paramedic assisted crews from the North East Ambulance Service.
One person was taken to hospital however no details have been given about any injuries.
Emergency servies were called to Saltburn yesterday evening after an incident at Saltburn.
A coastguard helicopter, police and ambulance crews were reportedly seen near to Huntcliff at Saltburn from around 6pm yesterday.
Witnesses reported seeing the helicopter and a lifeboat in the area and police were parked near the Ship Inn.
A spokesperson for the RNLI said that two lifeboats had been launched as part of a search for a missing person and added that the incident had been resolved by the police.
