Detectives have issued an appeal after an arson attack on an elderly woman's home;

Neighbourhood policing officers have seized a motorbike following information which was received from the public;

Detectives have issued an appeal after an arson attack on an elderly woman's home.

The incident occurred at a property on Sidmouth Close in Middlesbrough, on Wednesday at around 6.55pm.

Police and Cleveland Fire Brigade attended and officers are supporting the victim, a woman in her 70s, who required hospital treatment.

Detectives say enquiries are ongoing and are appealing for anyone who may have seen anything in the area of Sidmouth Close, including any dashcam or CCTV, to contact them on the non-emergency number.

 

Neighbourhood policing officers have seized a motorbike following information which was received from the public.

The motorbike was seized from an address in Redcar yesterday and enquiries are on-going.

Officers say that they continue to encourage information and intelligence from the public, to assist in fighting crime & anti-social behaviour.

Residents in our area are being urged to use the next vaccine walk-in clinics.

The team will be at Redcar and Cleveland College today and on Monday between 10am – 5pm.

There will also be a session at Bydales School in Marske from 8.45am - 5.45pm tomorrow.

People are being encouraged to visit for their first, second or booster jabs.

No appointments are necessary and you do not have to be a resident of either town in order to to attend.
