A rescue mission had to be launched to free two people had become stuck on a cliff edge at the weekend.
Staithes Coastguard Rescue Team were called to the scene at Kettleness at 3.30pm on Sunday.
The pair had attempted to climb the "near vertical cliff" from the beach after being cut off by the rising tide on Sunday.
Runswick Bay Rescue Boat was also deployed to find the exact location of the casualties so that cliff technicians from Staithes coastguard rescue team could descend.
They found two people clinging onto the near vertical cliff, having climbed from the beach after being cut off by the rising tide.

The incident occurred at the Savers Store on Grange Road at around 5.40pm on Monday.
Two males with their faces covered entered the store armed with a knife and threatened a staff member, before stealing a till drawer containing cash.
They left the store, but it's not known which direction they went.
Detectives from Middlesbrough CID are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with CCTV or dash cam footage which could help their enquiries to contact Cleveland Police via the non-emergency number 101.

The meeting – which was called before Christmas – took place yesterday and was attended by representatives from Cleveland Police, Middlesbrough Council, Cleveland Fire Brigade, the office of Simon Clarke MP, Thirteen Housing and Habinteg Housing Association.
Each agency was asked to provide the PCC with an update on the work they have been doing to tackle issues Hemlington, an area which has attracted attention in recent months for crime and antisocial behaviour.
Discussions focussed on what the key problems in the area are and what future plans are in place for each organisation to address them.
