The highest daily rise in Covid-19 cases was in Stockton, where there were 71 new infections.
In Middlesbrough there were 21 new cases, whilst here in Redcar and Cleveland there have been a further 16.

The incident occurred outside of the Corpus Christi Primary School on Sunday at around 4:50am when a red Seat Leon vehicle reportedly collided with a metal fence.
As a result of the collision the 27 year old male driver suffered injuries to his neck and two female passengers aged 23 and 25 suffered injuries to their arm, back and face.
Both women remain in hospital receiving treatment for their injuries.
Cleveland Police are appealing for anyone with dash cam or private CCTV footage, or any witnesses who may have sighted the vehicle prior to the colliion to contact them on the non-emergency number 101.
