A further 101 covid-19 cases have been recorded on Teesside, according to the latest 24 hour figures.
Data released by Public Health England yesterday confirmed that Stockton recorded the highestnumber of cases with another 31 people contracting coronavirus.
In Middlesbrough there were a further 27 cases, whilst here in Redcar and Cleveland there were a further 21.
A 31-year old man has been arrested on suspicion of driving offences after a crash involving three cars on a busy road in our area.
The A171 moor road was closed for almost two hours on Wednesday following a road traffic accident close to the junction with Swindale Lane, near Lockwood Beck.
Emergency services, including the Yorkshire Air Ambulance and Cleveland Fire Brigade, were called to the scene at around 11am.
None of the injuries sustained in the crash are believed to be life threatening.
Cleveland Police have confirmed that a 31-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of driving offences and has been released under investigation whilst inquiries continue.
Neighbourhood police officers in Eston have seized a motorbike which was causing a nuisance.
Officers from the Eston Neighbourhood Team seized the scooter after it was driven in an antisocial manner and caused damage to a community green.
The scooter was seized from the Churchill Drive area in Teesville.
