Updated figures from Public Health England, released yesterday, have shown that a further 375 Covid-19 cases have been confirmed on Teesside in the past 24 hours.
Once again it is Stockton that has recorded the highest number of new cases, with a further 152.
In Middlesbrough there have been a further 71 cases, whilst here in Redcar and Cleveland there have been a further 69.
Further restrictions have been put in place at Teesside's biggest hospital due to the coronavirus outbreak.
South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, which runs James Cook University Hospital, carried out a further risk assessment and reviewed partner attendance in the department due to a rise in covid-19 rates and admissions.
Partners will still be able to attend the dating, anomaly, fetal medicine and early pregnancy scans.
However, the trust has suspended partners attending all other scans until further notice.
The measures come into force today.
Two men have been arrested after a suspected stolen vehicle failed to stop for police in Middlesbrough.
The incident happened around 9:45pm on Sunday, when a vehicle made off from police on Longlands Road.
The BMW was pursued by officers onto Linthorpe Road, Borough Road, Cambridge Road, and onto the A66 towards Dormanstown.
Three males made off from the vehicle, and officers from Cleveland Police Dog Unit were able to track and detain two males aged 28 and 29.
The men were arrested in connection with the incident and taken into police custody.
