The family of missing Alison Danks have released a statement two weeks after she was reported missing to police.

A man has been arrested for a number of alleged driving offences after a crash in Redcar.

The incident happened on Brooksbank Avenue in the early hours of yesterday mornng.

Emergency services were called to the scene at around 2.20am, after reports that a silver Hyundai Coupe had crashed into two other vehicles.

It is believed the car had been involved in a pursuit prior to the crash.

A 28-year-old man from the Redcar area was arrested on suspicion of theft of motor vehicle, dangerous driving, driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence and no insurance.

 

 

The family of missing Alison Danks have released a statement two weeks after she was reported missing to police.

39-year-old Alison, who is also known as Alison Bishop, was last sighted on CCTV near to Outwood Academy Bydales School on Coast Road in Marske at 12:22am on Saturday 23rd May and has not been seen since.

Prior to this sighting she had been seen walking along Redcar Road in Marske at 12:10am and then along Marske High Street and towards the school.

Yesterday Alison’s brother Mathew Bishop, on behalf of the family, said that they want to see Alison return home safe and as soon as possible. 

He said that all that matters to the family is to know that Alison is ok.

Anyone with any information which could assist the investigation is asked to contact Cleveland Police on the non-emergency number 101.

 

Police are appealing for information following a collision in East Cleveland.

The incident occurred at the entrance to Brough House Farm on Saltburn Road in Brotton at around 6:20pm last Friday.

A red and black Suzuki motorbike, a Honda motorbike and a black Seat Ibiza were involved in the collision.

The 40-year-old rider of the Suzuki motorbike suffered fractures to his foot and femur and received treatment at James Cook University Hospital.

The 41-year-old rider of the Honda motorbike suffered a fracture to his ankle, and the 43-year-old driver of the Seat received treatment for hand injuries.
