Police had been looking for 26-year-old Lucy Murphy, from Coulby Newham, after she was reported missing from her home on Wednesday evening.

She was last seen at around 9.30pm.

A Cleveland Police spokesperson said that the death is not currently being treated as suspicious, and that their thoughts are with the woman’s family and friends at this difficult time.

Two fire engines, one from Coulby Newham and another from Middlesbrough responded to the call-out with an ambulance arriving on scene shortly afterwards.

Two patients were taken to James Cook University Hospital for treatment.
