Police searching for a missing Coulby Newham woman have found a body.
Police had been looking for 26-year-old Lucy Murphy, from Coulby Newham, after she was reported missing from her home on Wednesday evening.
She was last seen at around 9.30pm.
A body has now sadly been discovered, and police say while identification has not yet taken place, her family are being supported by police.
A Cleveland Police spokesperson said that the death is not currently being treated as suspicious, and that their thoughts are with the woman’s family and friends at this difficult time.
Two people had to be rescued by firefighters after becoming trapped inside an overturned car at the weekend.
Emergency services were on scene at Ormesby Bank in Middlesbrough, following the crash on Saturday evening.
The car contained two people who had to be removed from the vehicle by fire crews using stabilisation equipment.
Two fire engines, one from Coulby Newham and another from Middlesbrough responded to the call-out with an ambulance arriving on scene shortly afterwards.
Two patients were taken to James Cook University Hospital for treatment.
An investigation is under way after firefighters battled a large woodland fire on Eston Hills.
Emergency services were called to the scene on Thursday evening as flames could be seen across the area.
Cleveland Fire Brigade sent four appliances to the scene from Coulby Newham, Grangetown and Guisborough.
The blaze spread towards the Flatts Lane area, as crews remained on the hills from around 5pm until 7.30pm.
A Cleveland Fire Brigade spokesperson has confirmed that the cause of the fire is still being investigated.
