A man has been charged in connection with a stabbing in Redcar.

The 33-year-old man from the Redcar area was charged with assault and possession of a bladed article in connection with a stabbing incident on Langthwaite Walk in the town on Thursday 6th February.

The man appeared at Teesside Magistrates Court on Saturday.

 

Neighbourhood police officers in Redcar have charged a man with possessing class A drugs.

The 54 year old man appeared at Teesside Magistrates Court yesterday.

The charge was made by officers from the Redcar Neighbourhood team after a reported drugs warrant was executed at a property in Redcar.

A quantity of drugs were reportedly recovered from the property.

 

Police are warning the public to be vigilant after a number of hoax calls in our area.

Officers say that if you receive a call or recorded message claiming to be HMRC stating that there is a warrant in existence for your arrest due to non-payment of tax – this could be a scam.
