An injured woman had to lay in the road and wait for three hours for an ambulance after falling in a Redcar street yesterday;

Police have confirmed the name of a woman who was found dead in Middlesbrough on Sunday;

...and police are warning motorists to be vigilant after 15 thefts from motor vehicles were reported in Redcar in the last seven days.

 

An injured woman had to lay in the road and wait for three hours for an ambulance after falling in a Redcar street yesterday.

The lady was discovered on Mersey Road at around half past two yesterday afternoon and an ambulance was called.

However the ambulance didn’t arrive until just before 5.30pm.

Passersby covered the lady with a blanket and waited with her until medical help arrived.

When the ambulance finally arrived, paramedics took the woman to James Cook University Hospital.

 

Police have confirmed the name of a woman who was found dead in Middlesbrough on Sunday.

She is 33 year old Natalie Saunders who lived on Tomlinson Way in the town.

Family and friends have paid tribute to Natalie, who was a mother of five children.

A 24 year old man appeared at Teesside Magistrates’ Court yesterday, charged with Natalie’s murder.

Police inquiries are on-going.

 

Police are warning motorists to be vigilant after 15 thefts from motor vehicles were reported in Redcar in the last seven days.

Officers are advising drivers to keep their vehicle in a secure garage, ensure all belongings are removed from the vehicle and are not on display, not to leave a car unattended when waiting for it to defrost, and to double check it is locked and secure and nothing is on display.
