A main road in Redcar had to be closed at the weekend as police and ambulance service responded to an incident at a house.
Lord Street was shut for a time on Saturday morning and a police officer wearing safety gloves was seen entering an address.
The North East Ambulance Service said that it was called to a medical incident at a private address.
The street was closed at around quarter past eleven in the morning but reopened a short time later.
Neighbourhood Policing Teams in Redcar have responded to a number of calls relating to vehicles being driven in an anti-social manner in our area.
Last week two motorbikes were seized using police powers in New Marske and in the Coatham ward of Redcar.
A section 59 warning was also issued to a male youth in Marske for driving recklessly and on footpaths.
Now officers have issued a warning that riding off-road vehicles in public open spaces will not be tolerated, as it is dangerous, noisy and illegal.
Anyone with information about nuisance vehicles in our area is asked to contact the neighbourhood police team on 101.
Northern Rail have released timetables for two of the three days of RMT strike action this week.
Tomorrow, Thursday and Saturday will see further action by RMT members and Northern has developed timetables to keep the north of England on the move.
On each day of the strike action the train operator will be running fewer services and is expecting the services which they do operate to be extremely busy.
The are advising anyone thinking of travelling with Northern on Tuesday, Thursday or Saturday to plan their journey carefully.
