Cleveland Police have arrested three men for drug offences in Grove Hill.
The officers, who acting on complaints from the community about drug use and antisocial behaviour in their area executed a drugs warrant for Class B drugs in Urswick Road, Grove Hill yesterday.
Three men aged 18, 28 and 42 were arrested on suspicion of supplying Class B drugs and released under investigation.
Seventy-five homes could be built on riding school land between Saltburn and Marske - right next to a controversial development of 130 houses.
If given the go-ahead the latest proposal would stand on a 2.9 hectare site at Saltburn Riding School and livery yard, south of Marske Road.
It’s been lodged by AAH Planning Consultants, on behalf of Land Designation Ltd.
The site lies next to a Taylor Wimpey homes development, which was controversially allowed to be built after an appeal three years ago.
Public consultation on the proposal ends on February 6.
Middlesbrough FC’s Fabio Da Silva visited Teesside University to officially open its new £1m all-weather sports pitch.
The new artificial pitch, outside the Olympia Building, is also set to be used for a national FA tournament in the coming weeks.
The investment in the all-weather pitch forms part of the University's campus masterplan which will see £300m invested over the next 10 years to completely transform the campus.
The new pitch includes a 60mm rubber crumb carpet surface with 'shockpad', similar to the surface used at the Middlesbrough Football Club training ground.
