Boy hurt in Billingham crash
Police are appealing for witnesses after a collision in Billingham on Tuesday evening.
The collision took place at around 8.35pm on Monday night and involved a green Rover 45 and a 12-year-old male cyclist.
The cyclist suffered cuts to his head and one of his hands. He was taken to James Cook University Hospital and detained overnight for treatment.
Any witnesses to the collision are asked to contact PC Paul Sanderson from the Cleveland and Durham Specialist Operations Unit on the non-emergency 101 number, quoting event number 121496.
