Cleveland Police has seized over a million pounds worth of drugs in the first six months of the year.

Between January and June police recovered drugs including cocaine, heroin and cannabis, worth over one and a quarter million in street value.

This includes a cannabis farm in Grangetown where a 52-year-old man was arrested.

More than twelve thousand pounds worth of amphetamine and cannabis were also found in South Bank.

A 55-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of supplying class B drugs and was later released under investigation.

A car has crashed into a bank and stolen cash boxes in Eston High Street.

Police were called yesterday morning after a white Ford Kuga drove into the front of Yorkshire Bank in Eston.

It's believed that multiple men stole cash boxes before making off.

And the car was later found burnt out on Crow Lane close to Lackenby.

Anyone who witnessed the event - or the white Kuga - is asked to call police on 101.]

And a local fifteen-year-old boy has gone missing.

Lewis McNeil was last seen on Thursday the third of August in Eston.

He is described as being white, around 5 foot 6 tall with short light brown hair.

He was last seen wearing a blue McKenzie jacket, black Nike tracksuit bottoms and wellies.
