Neighbourhood police officers have recovered cash and crack cocaine from a house in Grangetown.
They raided the house on Eastcroft Road yesterday morning after reports from locals.
A 16-year-old boy and 17-year-old girl have both been arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply and are in police custody.
Anyone with information is asked to get in touch with Cleveland Police on 101.
A decision on plans for a multi-million pound walled garden and catering academy in Kirkleatham has been delayed.
The Council were recommended to approve planning permission but delayed it yesterday after locals complained.
The development would include a walled garden, catering academy, restaurant, an events marquee and a car park and would create 80 new jobs.
But residents objected to the marquee, car park and the traffic it could cause.
Now the plans will be reconsidered at a future meeting while they investigate alternative road access.
Equipment cabinets are being installed to help groups who organise their own litter picks on Redcar beach.
The cabinets will be filled with everything from litter pickers, hi-vis jackets and rubbish sacks.
They’re being installed to try and encourage people to organise their own clean-up events.
They’re part of the council’s ‘Love It’ campaign which encourages people to do small things to make a big different to the community and environment.
A launch event is taking place tomorrow morning at 11:00.
