Appeal after scooter taken in robbery
Police are appealing for information after a 14-year-old boy was threatened with a knife and had his scooter stolen in Flatts Lane Park, Normanby.
The incident took place in an area known as ‘the dippers’ at around 7pm on Wednesday 2nd July.
The victim was riding his scooter when he was approached by another youth who threatened him with a knife and took his scooter.
The suspect is described as a white male, around 5ft tall, around 12 years old and wearing a grey tracksuit. He had scruffy hair and was riding a green and blue mountain bike.
It is believed that there were a number of people in the vicinity, including a woman who was around 5ft 4” tall with blonde hair and wearing a blue top. Officers would like to speak to this woman as she may have information which could assist with enquiries.
