Police are appealing for women to come forward after a report of a man acting suspiciously in Captain Cook Square Car Park in Middlesbrough.

Officers have been told that a number of women have felt ‘uncomfortable’ about a man who they believed had followed them to their cars.

Police have not received any direct complaints or reports from any of the women and are appealing for them to come forward so they can get a clearer picture of what has happened, when it has taken place, and get descriptions of the man. The identities of the women are unclear.

Anyone with information is asked to contact DC Marie Appleby at Cleveland Police on the non-emergency number 101.
