105FM :: Local Radio for Redcar & Cleveland

What is Zetland FM?

Zetland FM is a brand new community radio station which was awarded a five year broadcasting licence by Ofcom in October 2013. We broadcast 24 hours a day to a large part of the Redcar and Cleveland District.

With many local commercial radio stations that previously offered coverage of the area now becoming more regionalised and (in some cases) relocating out of the area, Zetland FM intends to offer those living and working here, a truly local service of music, information, news and sport coverage – something that will be unique and very much, based within the community ‘heart’ of the area.

What will Zetland FM sound like?

We’re creating a radio station that the people of Redcar and Cleveland can not only be proud of, but engage with. We’ll bring you the latest news, weather, travel and sport from around the area, as well as details of events and activities that you can get involved in. We'll be talking about the issues that matter to you, with comment and feedback from local decision makers. Plus of course, we'll be playing plenty of your favourite music to keep you entertained wherever you are in our area!

How can I listen and interact?

We are now on air broadcasting 24hrs a day live from studios based at the Redcar Beacon – you can hear us on 105 FM in Redcar & Cleveland and also online via www.zetlandfm.co.uk and the TuneIn Radio App.

Getting involved?

Your support in the area is a crucial part of any Community Radio Station and at Zetland FM, we are always on the lookout for dedicated local people, to help us in a range of areas from administration and community engagement, through to programme producing and presenting.
