Cleveland Police are appealing for information and any witnesses following an assault in Middlesbrough;

Police have been praised for their speedy response after a man was arrested less than two hours after officers visited the victim, obtained CCTV, and identified a suspect;

...and Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council have announced that they will be carrying out work in Guisborough today and tomorrow.

Detectives from Redcar CID have successfully charged two people in relation to two separate incidents over the weekend;

Police are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with doorbell, dashcam or CCTV footage to get in touch following an assault in Guisborough on Easter Sunday;

...and a car has been seized by officers after being driven dangerously on the beach at Redcar at the weekend.
