Both Bob and Marje are music enthusiasts with a keen interest in promoting the talent of local artists by giving the singers, songwriters and musicians in the area a platform for their creativity.

Bob is well known locally as a published singer-songwriter and his songs, which reflect his great love of the region, are sung by other artistes in the area, including Vin Garbutt.

His other love is the sea and he has spent much time on both local fishing boats and old sailing ships.

Marjorie is the producer and co-presenter of the show. For many years, known in music circles as 'Bob’s missus', she eventually branched out and is now a keen ukulele player and occasionally sings in the Cutty Wren folk club.

The show plays a range of easy listening folk, from traditional to folk rock.

2ndMarch 2016

Spring at last ,although the friends who are snowbound don't seem to think so.

Fortunately, tonight's guest does not have to battle too far ; we will welcome Ronnie Brown to chat about the inspiration and influences behind the albums he made with POVERTY LANE.

In addition we have a fantastic mix of local and national musicians and singers.

Must mention what a great night it was on Friday at Saltburn Golf Club when Marie Marx shone and we were all blown away by the fantastic O'Hooley and Tiddow.

Enjoy your music tonight!
