Boro Rangers remain unbeaten as they joined Whinney Banks in the League Cup, while Fishburn kept up the pressure on Stockton.

The week prior to the League Representative side competing in the semi-final of the FA Inter-League Cup, Boro Rangers who have five players involved in the match have reached the April semi-finals on the Mitre Prostar MacMillan Bowl League Cup after coming from behind to win 2-1 at Thirsk Falcons after Stuart Rose with his 39th goal of the season gave the Falcons a first half lead, Steve Keenan made it 1-1 in 75th minute with Nathan Liddell scoring the winner two minutes later, Whinney Banks YCC whose manager Lee Chaplin manages the Rep side and has six players involved in the Rep side also had to come from behind before beating Stockton West End 4-2, Ben Turner with his 37th goal of the season gave West End the lead, but a Lee Mahon free kick made it 1-1, Jake Large gave West End a 2-1 half time lead but in the second half Jack Campbell scored a hat trick to send his team through to the semi-finals, but both teams will have to wait until after next week to find out who they meet.

In the League, Fishburn Park remain in third place after a 5-3 victory over St Mary’s College who took the lead through Jack Sedgwick, Andrew Menzies and Jake Faichney pulled it back to 2-1 only for Chris Norlund to make it 2-2 at half time, on the hour Nathan Storr and his brother Luke gave Fishburn a 4-2 lead but Norlund pulled it back to 4-3 before Mike Kilpatrick made it a final score of 5-3, Thornaby Dubliners move up to fourth place after a 2-0 victory at BEADS, James Hackett scored from a hotly contested penalty five minutes into the second half with Glenn Walker making it 2-0 in the last minute, Redcar Newmarket slipped down to fifth after being held to a 1-1 draw with local rivals Redcar Town, Kieron Clark gave Newmarket the lead ten minutes into the second half, Sean Mackin scoring the equaliser in the second minute of added on time, Grangetown Boys Club raced into a 4-0 lead at Nunthorpe Athletic after Steve Cochrane, Kenny Poulter, Mark Ward and Lee Seed scored, Seed and Poulter both scored their second of the game to make it 6-0 before Dan Ball scored a late consolation, Sam Calvert gave Lingdale a 1-0 first half lead at local rivals Staithes Athletic with Chris Harland making it 2-0 five minutes into the second half from the penalty spot.
