Guisborough Town hit by weather
Guisborough Town's scheduled Northern League clash with West Auckland has had to be postponed.
The Priorymen, who sit second in the Northern League First Division, were set to host the County Durham side on Wednesday evening before heavy rain struck.
The King George V ground failed an early afternoon pitch inspection due to waterlogging.
Due to the wetter-than-usual winter weather, the FA has approved a season extension from April 30 to May 7, following a request from the Northern League. The chairman and vice-chairman of the FA's leagues committee have also said that they will consider a further extension in early March if the situation continues to deteriorate.
Stephen Dowling's men are next in action on Saturday when they visit fourth-placed Newton Aycliffe.
