By Dave Marsay

The North Riding Saturday County Cup will be an all Teesside League line up after Thornaby Dubliners won their semi-final match against Old Malton St Mary’s 1-0 thanks to a last minute goal by James Hackett, Boro Rangers will contest the final against the Dubliners after they won their all fellow league clash against BEADS 5-1, with a brace from Paul Callen and other goals from Danny Lockwood, Matthew McQueeney and Jamie Bellamy, Mark Sowerby replied for BEADS FC.

Stockton West End failed in their quest to reach the final of the Durham Trophy after they lost 3-0 in the semi-final to Wearside League side Hartlepool FC.

No Change to the top two in the table due to both being on cup duty, Fishburn Park move to within four points of second place West End after a 4-0 victory at Grangetown Boys Club, Sam Richardson and Jake Faichney both scoring a brace each, Redcar Newmarket move up to 4th place after a 7-1 victory over Billingham FC, Ryan Hodgson scored four goals, Chris Hodgson a brace with Ross Harrison also on target, Whinney Banks who have a lot of game to catch up with, move up to 5th place with a 3-0 victory over Yarm, Thirsk Falcons who also have a backlog of matches move up to 9th after a 6-2 victory at St Mary’s College, Stuart Rose scoring five times, Nunthorpe Athletic secured only their third match of the season with a 5-3 victory at Lingdale, but remain second bottom of the table.
