Redcar Newmarket and Grangetown enjoyed wins, but Redcar Town were denied in a thriller on a busy Saturday.

For the first time since the back end of November, a full league programme of fixtures took place this weekend, unbeaten Boro Rangers remain top of the table following a hard fought 2-1 victory at Staithes Athletic, with Danny Lockwood scoring the winner in the last minute. Stockton West End remain in second nine points behind after an emphatic 9-0 victory over Yarm FC, Ben Turner scored in the 17th minute to give West End the lead, Ben Hamilton was sent off five minutes before half time to reduce West End to ten men, but in the second half Turner scored four further goals with Alex Jamieson and Eddie Dasey both scoring a brace each. Fishburn Park won 7-2 at Billingham and remain in third place, two goals each from Alex McGovern and Sam Richardson gave Fishburn a 4-0 lead before Shaun Laverick made it 4-1 at half time, second half goals from Nathan Smurthwaite, Nathan Storr and James Organ-Simpson made it 7-1 before Matthew Bendelow scored to make it a final score of 7-2. Thornaby Dubliners looked well in control away to Lingdale when Arran Scott and Arron Newman both scored inside thirty-five minutes, but Chris Harland made it 2-1 at half time, five minutes into the second half substitute Gary Sivills made it 2-2 with Andrew Smith scoring what turned out to be the winner five minutes later.
BEADS FC slipped to a home defeat by Thirsk Falcons, Stuart Rose scoring four time with an own goal making it 5-0 before James Allen pulled a goal back. Whinney Banks move up to 6th place following a 2-1 victory at St Mary’s College, Lee Mahon gave Whinney banks an 18th minute lead with Michael Shellard making it 2-0 near the hour mark, Ben Cotts pulled it back to 2-1 with fifteen minutes remaining, Redcar Newmarket remain in 7th place after a narrow 3-2 victory over Nunthorpe Athletic, Michael Beacham and Kieran Clark gave Newmarket a 2-0 lead but on the stroke of half time Charlie Brady pulled it back to 2-1, with twenty minutes remaining Clark with his second of the game made it 3-1 but five minutes later Anthony Able made it 3-2, Grangetown Boys Club bounced back to winning ways with a narrow 4-3 victory over Redcar Town, Mark Ward, Michael Wilson and Lewis Simms gave the Boys club a 3-0 half time lead, an own goal by Alan Shepherd gave Town a glimmer of hope with the deficit reduced to 3-1, Dave Hitchin pulled it back to 3-2, but Carl Appleyard making his debut made it 4-2 before Callum Revely pulled it back to 4-3 with four minutes remaining.
