Guisborough boss Chris Hardy was pleased despite being pegged back right at the end by Penrith on a day when none of the Northern League's top seven clubs won.

By Guisborough Town manager Chris Hardy

Before today's game taken into account Penrith at home is always a tough task, coupled with the fact we were nine players missing, a share of the spoils would of been a good return for ourselves from today's fixture.

This been said over the course of the 90 minutes I thought our control of the game for the best part deserved more than what we received and conceding in 90 minutes plus proved to be a bitter pill to swallow.

The lads can take a lot of positives from today's fixture as going one down could have disrupted our approach but they showed good maturity and can count themselves unlucky not to be taking all three points from today's fixture.
