Redcar Athletic bounced back from last week's League Cup heartbreak to win away at Ashbrooke Belford House.

Steve Connolly's side edged a 2-1 victory thanks to a Kieran Stares brace.

Fifth-placed Athletic travel to runaway league leaders Stockton Town on Saturday, with a 2.00pm kick-off.
