Redcar Newmarket enjoyed a big win while Redcar Town battled defending champions Boro Rangers.

Champions Boro Rangers are top of the table, in midweek they went behind against Thornaby Dubliners when Aaron Scott scored, but hit back to win 4-1, Ben Hugill and an own goal gave Boro Rangers a 2-1 half time lead, Danny Lockwood and Richard Cook made it 4-1. On Saturday they beat Redcar Town 3-0, Danny Lockwood scored a first half brace with Richard Cook adding the third in the second half.

BEADS are in second place on the same number of points, they went 4-0 ahead when they entertained Guisborough Three Fiddles on Saturday, Ben Bonner, Alex Brown, Dan Chapman and Nathan Konya all on target, Redcar Newmarket who won 2-1 against Fishburn Park with a brace from Michael Dowse in midweek, Mark Waterfield on target for Fishburn, Michael Dowse scored a hat trick on Saturday when Newmarket won 4-0 at St Mary’s Yarm, Anthony Jefferson also on target.

Stockton West End bounced back from a 3-0 defeat by Billingham Town Reserves and won 7-4 away at Whitby against Fishburn Park, Michael McLoughlin and Joe Teasdale both scored a brace each, Michael Snaith, Jake Large and Ben Turner were also on target, Mark Waterfield scored a brace for Fishburn, with Ban Brown and Dominic Wilson also on target.

Thornaby Dubliners bounced back from their midweek defeat to win 3-1 against Nunthorpe Athletic, Harrison Davies made it 1-0 at half time, goals from James Hackett and Glenn Corkain made it 3-0 before Ross Watson replied for Nunthorpe, on Wednesday evening Staithes Athletic drew 2-2 with Guisborough Three Fiddles. Gary Sivills and Sam Calvert gave Staithes a 2-0 half time lead, but Scott Matthewman and an own goal made it 2-2. Also on Wednesday evening Whinney Banks YCC secured their first victory of the season with first half goals from Michael Shellard, Lee Donoghue and Lee Mahon all on target.
